I was approached at the end of 2020 to do the branding for a restaurant start-up in my home town of Johannesburg, South Africa. I would work with people I had first met in my student days – a wonderful proposition after living in London for 15 years.
The restaurant is called Peachy and required a fully branded identity created from scratch. The logotype, brand colours, menus, social media templates, and more. The owner wanted to create a retro, playful, and quirky brand to match the welcoming and laid-back restaurant space.
The interior design was done by Heartspace and as the turnaround time was tight for both the graphic and interior design, we both kept an eye on each other’s work so that the colour palette and general look & feel felt right together. It was a delightful project to be involved in. Peachy is thriving and does a mean cocktail if you’re ever in town!
