Angie is one of my best friends, and ironically, despite us both being from Johannesburg, we only met for the first time six months after moving to London. I was asked to be a bridesmaid at her wedding, and I also had the pleasure of designing the wedding stationery set for her, and her now-husband, Martin. They had a general idea of what they wanted; they wanted the main colours to be navy and yellow, they wanted sunflowers, and a picture of the venue to feature. The rest of the design was left up to me to develop, and despite being quite a mammoth amount of work, it was a very fun, rewarding job. I’m pleased to say that both bride and groom were very happy with the results.
